I need to have a stacking 2 column chart in which the second column i
wider than the first.
I can get the two columns - no problem - BUT...
So here goes, I am trying to chart our plan vs actual sales.
I need to have a thin column for the plan and thicker column fo
actual.
The actual needs to be to the immediate left of the plan with no spac
in between. A space is necessary between the Jan actual and Feb plan.
As shown on the column chart attached which is not stacking.
If I try overlap on a stacking chart, all the sections offset and n
longer form one column.
If I reduce the gap, all the columns move next to each other but I d
not know how to make the plan column thinner than the actual nor mak
the actual move over the plan so it looks thinner. Although it is no
supposed to happen, if the actual is less than plan it is also
problem that the plan clolumn would show that it is not actuall
thinner but just covered up a bit.
If I try to make the actual out of two columns so it is twice as wide
then the segments borders show that it is two columns instead of one.
As shown on the stacking chart I have attached. I need borders aroun
the columns or I would just do this.
Any ideas? First time posting so sorry if I didn't do somethin
right.
Thanks much
