Partial Install

I recently tried to take w2k from service pack 1 to
service pack 4. I thought I should have been able to do
it in one step, since they are cumulative upgrades.
However, windows had a problem installing sp4 (why, i am
not sure). Now it won't let me install it. It keeps
bouncing me out. What I really need is SP2 as I have an
application that requires it, but now that I tried
installing sp4, windows is telling me that sp2 is older
than currently installed.

All i really need is sp2? Any thoughts?

I would uninstall SP4 (control panel - Add/Remove Programs)
and try again.
