Last night picked my parents up from London Heathrow Terminal 5.
I was in the car park for 14 minutes from entering to paying...............................................£3.50.
4 mins to find a space, 6 mins walking to Terminal, grab folks and walk back to car 4mins.
Rip Off Britain at it's best again!!!!

Just be thankful it wasn't owned by Ryanair ;) :D

Well it's cheaper han a local Hospital who makes over £1 Million a year profit on parking!

£3.50 for 14 mins sounds about the same as it costs to park on a meter in the centre of Greenwich and is probably cheaper than parking in most parts of Westminster.

It's all part of a government conspiracy to discourage the public from vehicle ownership.

And in my case - it worked.

And excessive parking fees also gives some people a sense of outrage and thus good reason to moan which in a perverse way actually keeps them happy. Some folk just love to grumble ;)
