Parameters with Cross Tab query

Can you use a Parameter with a Cross Tab Query? If so how. I keep getting
an error message saying Microsoft Jet engine does not recognize my query.

Yes, but you must explicitly define the Parameter. Open the query in
design view; right mouseclick the background of the tables; select
Parameters. Copy and paste each parameter (e.g. [Enter start date:])
in the Parameter column, and specify its datatype in the right. It
must match EXACTLY, punctuation, spaces, etc.
