2 questions. first, I put a parameter query in a query. (what project No.?).
Now when I open the query I have 2 query boxes; one right after the other.
Why am I getting 2? Next, how can I have a drop down selection box as part
of my parameter query so I don't have to type in the name each time? thanks.

Is it looking for the same thing in both parameter boxes?

If it appears to be, then odds are you've put the parameter in your query
twice, but with a slight difference in how you typed it (an extra space,
different punctuation, etc.)

If not, then find what it's looking for in the second box, and make sure
that's a valid reference in your query.

You cannot change the parameter prompt into a combo box. However, you can
create a form that has a combo box with the desired data in it, and have the
parameter point to that control, rather than to what you typed in as a
parameter.

First things first. Yes, it is asking for the same thing twice. I checked
the query design and there is only 1 criteria with that question...or any
question at all.

Are you opening a form or report when you're doing this? If so, are you
referring to the parameter in your form or report?

When I open the query, it asks Which Job? I tell it hit OK, and then the
same box comes up with Which Job?. I tell it, hit OK and then it opens the
query with the right information.
