Paragraphs

Ok, I'm really sick and tired of trying to format paragraphs in Power Point
with what seems to be "old school" techonology... a ruler!

Suggestion: have a paragraph feature in Power Point similar to the one in
Word that would allow you to indent either 1st or second line and would also
allow double space, etc.

The code's already written... should be transportable.

I guess you're speaking about this: to create a hanging indent, move the
lower indent marker on the ruler. If you press Ctrl while dragging, you get
finer control.

Personally, I like doing this type of work on the ruler -- in fact, I tend
to do it on the ruler in Word, too.

PPT 2007 has much better text handling than previous versions, though, and
it handles tabs similarly to the way Word handles them. PPT 2007 even has a
Tabs dialog box where you can set the tab stop position using numbers. But
there's still no "hanging indent" option to set with numbers (you'll still
have to use the ruler for that), nor (to include a complete answer) are
there any leader lines.

Tabs in PPT 2007 are "per paragraph," not "per textbox" as in the past.
