Paragraph and Heading numbering

I need some advice on how to set up the following automatic paragraph and
heading numbering scheme in Word as shown below. Basically every paragraph
number following a Heading 1 needs a number, except those at Heading 2 level:

CHAPTER 2 - CHAPTER HEADING (Heading 1)
201. This is an example of a numbered paragraph (Body Text)
202. This is the next numbered paragraph heading (Heading 3)
203. This is the next paragraph (Body Text)
We Also Have Un-Numbered Paragraph Headings (Heading 2)
204. This would be the following paragraph (Body Text)

CHAPTER 3 - NEXT CHAPTER HEADING (Heading 1)
301. This first paragraph of the next chapter (Body Text)
etc

Is this possible??

I am using Word 2003.

Any suggestions and/or advice on how to do this would be appreciated!

Set up outline numbering as explained at
http://www.shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/OutlineNumbering.html. For your
body text paragraphs, use a style which is based on the Heading 3 style;
that way, they will share the same numbering.
