Hi,

My name is Amy Vargo. Thank you for using the Microsoft Access Newsgroups.

You can import or link to Paradox tables in Microsoft Access. I included a
link to an article that lists the file types you can import/export/link in
Access.

286246 ACC2002: Using Paradox Data with Access 2002 and Jet

283294 ACC2002: Supported Data Sources for Importing, Exporting, and
Linking in
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=283294

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.

I've converted several Paradox apps to Access. You can import the
data; you'll need to a) spend some time getting the table structure
properly normalized, as Access is generally more "relational" than
most Paradox databases; b) unlearn some of the "ways you always do
things" because they're done differently in Access (less code, more
queries for instance); and c) rebuild all your forms/reports from
scratch since they don't convert.

But as noted elsethread, it'll be worth the effort and then some.

One suggestion: please lay off the CAPS LOCK. It's hard to read and
looks like you're SHOUTING AT US. All lower case is preferable.
