paperport max files

paperport a scanner program, saves in the .max format
Otherwise you can export it to a .jpg format
Is there any free one that can read and convert these files
There is a .max veiwer, but cannot convert with it...
if so please tell me how..

Try opening the .max files with http://www.xnview.com/ or
http://www.irfanview.com/ - the .max format might just be tiff renamed. It's
worth a shot.

What do you want to convert to?

You can print to PDF if you have the right driver.

There is also an early version of PaperPort on the ScanSoft FTP site.
It may be able to handle your .max files if they are old enough.

Look for Paperport4.zip.
