Hi -

I'm using PaperMaster Pro Version 7.0 (Build 819) to scan documents
(Windows XP PC with a Xerox Documate 262 scanner). Everything seems to
be working fine, with the following exception:

Whenever I try to open the Editor from PaperMaster, either by
double-clicking a document in a PaperMaster folder, by right-clicking
the document and selecting Open In Editor, or by using Ctrl-O, the
following error message is displayed:

PaperMaster
'JSDRegGetFileSpec eStampTextSpec' has a bad format.

When I click OK, the document opens as it should.

Whenever I try to close the Editor, I get the same message. Again,
there are no further problems after I click OK.

This happens with every document in PaperMaster.

How can I get rid of the error message and/or fix the format of
whatever "has a bad format??"

Thanks for your help.

Hi Jeff...

I suspect that it's really complaining about a bad or missing registry
entry.

A suggestion might be to try uninstalling and then reinstalling.

If you do; then remember that you'll have to temporarily disable any
registry protection you're using (or at least grant one time permissions)

Take care.
