I have a canon I965 and with it I got some paper... 4x6 photo paper pro.

How does photo paper pro differ from photo paper plus glossy? I understand
the matte doesn't give a shine... and got some of that too.

Which paper type do most people tend to choose for photo printing and why?

Many thanks :)

I talked to the clerk at the local photo printing shop and she says
the glossy paper should be avoided in her opinion. She prefers matte.
I do too, although the glossy might be appropriate for limited uses.
Now you have to decide what you like best so give them all a try.
