Ok i have a signal in video decoder, inside record program, but still says being used buy another program, i removed video wave 4 from computer so it can't see it, could there be something else I need to do. How does your capture devise hook up. Is it through the USB or card on the back.

My Dazzle 80 is an external device connected to my computer's USB
connection. I installed the driver on my desktop last night and did some
capturing from it also. It's working on my Dell desktop and my Toshiba
laptop.

On the desktop I'm plugging into a USB hub. On the laptop going into one of
it's 3 USB ports.

Do you know anything about Dell version MGI video wave 4. My devise works on that, I just can't sdee it in the vieqw screen when recording from camcorder.

I have MGI video wave 3, from Dell. I cannot see the video when capturing
from a vcr either. Have never been able to figure out how to change that.
It is a pain.

Ya and MGI according to Roxio that distributes (or used to) MGI products went bankrupt so there is no tech support for MGI products, or at least Video Wave 4, I tried to get Roxio to fix that problem for me and that is what I found out. Dell is your only hope and that is not much, you have to buy tech support because it is a software issue and there is no garranty that they can fix your problem comforting isn't it.

Ya it is a product you have to buy from dell to find out that it won't work the way the book says and that they don't know how to fix it either.

I did produce a video with Video Wave and then I burned it to VCD but it wont play on my DVD Player on the TV, it is supposed to play SVCD and VCD's have you had any luck doing this.
