Hi all,

I have Panda Internet Security Platinum 8.05.01 and I'm getting
problems with IE.
As soon as the Firewall is enabled, random images will fail to load on
websites or if I click on link I instantly get Page not Found. I've
emailed support twice but they don't want to reply to my emails. Great
customer support there boys!

Anyone had a similar experience?

/Pete
Win2000 SP4, IE6 SP1.

Just offhand, It looks to me like this software is doing it's job very
nicely by plugging IE's holes and preventing access to stuff that could
present a security risk. it's probably using a HOSTS file or something like
it

do yourself a favor, get Mozilla, Firefox, Netscape, Opera or almost ANY
broswer that is NOT IE and NOT just another 'skin' for IE (as in built
around the IE core components and therefore having the same faults like
allowing activex to run)

No. XPHome+SP2.

Well, not the most helpful responses I've ever seen but thanks
nonetheless.

For your information, Firefox exhibits exactly the same problem as IE.
I've emailed Panda 3 times and they've not bothered to reply. So all I
can say is, if your thinking of an internet security package -- DON'T
BOTHER WITH PANDA !!!

Cheers,
Pete

Well, for what its worth, I use PIS with XPHome and I've not seen this
problem at all. In fact, Panda is just great (IMHO).
Not needed to contact them recently but they did respond months ago
after 3-4 days.
