I have installed Panda Antivirus Titanium and it is fine. When I try
to install Panda Internet Security the installshield says I have to
uninstall Titanium first.

If I do that and install Panda IS, it automatically installs Panda
Antivirus Platinum.

Are these products incompatible?

Thanks for you help

You can't have 2 antivirus at the same time.

Bob S,

You most certainly can have 2 AV programs on a system at the same time.
There may be conflicts if you have both of them set to run real time
protection (interactive scanning), but not necessarily. But that isn't even
the OP's question. The question is; why does Panda, the only software vendor
being discussed, remove the Titanium version and replace it with the
Platinum version of their software when installing the internet security
program?

Yes You have understood my post completely.

I guess asking Panda Software is the only way.

I suppose the only alternative if I want to keep antivrus Titanium is
to use a different firewall.

I use Panda Internet Security and it also uses Platinum Anti-Virus, not
Titanium, which (I assume) is why they tell you to remove Titanium.
I have to say that I am very pleased with Internet Security, it does the
job, to date I don't appear to have a virus (please God) and it updates
itself regularly.
