I'm loving this Windows Movie Maker. It is very easy to use and I love the
interface. I suspect, though, that there may be two features that I would
like to have that it won't do...or will it?

When making a slide show with music background, can I "pan" a picture or can
I just fade in and out?

Also, Can I do a small picture within a larger picture?

Thanks

Are you using Windows Movie Maker 2.x ? If so have a look at my plugins
for WMM:

Pan Zoom: http://www.rehanfx.org/panzoom.htm

PIP Plus: http://www.rehanfx.org/pipplus.htm

Furthermore there are a lot of other custom effects and transitions you
may be interested in that are discussed at:
http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/forums

Are these plug-ins drag and drop like the rest of movie maker or would I have
to know complex codes? These two plug-ins look like just what I need if they
are for computer illiterate people like me.

Thanks

Try out Rehan's packages they are great, I like the 'splits'. And as long
as you are going to get into this great Movie Maker program I suggest you
take a look at www.pixelan.com....click on the Spicefx paks for Movie Maker
and check out their array of effects and transitions. The effects are all
'drag and drop' on your clips...for more awesome transitions and overlays
check out www.adorage.com. Always make sure you are looking at software
that is for Movie Maker. Have fun.

also check out pixelan's spice effects and transitions
http://www.pixelan.com . not free, but very nice add-ons, that give you
many options to pan/zoom as well as PIP and others.
