Anyone know how to install a Palm Hotsync driver?
XP hardware wizard has 'Palm Device' as option but does not allow it to be
selected. It also states that there is no driver AND that 'there is no
better choice than the driver you have already installed' (have reinstalled
Palm Desktop 4.1.4 for Zire 71 and deleted problem items from device manager,
regedit, etc., all as recommended on all the sites I have looked on). HELP!

Download the new desktop software from palm.com and it should install
automatically. You do not need any drivers other than those supplied by
Palm I think that the Desktop software is 4.2.
Best of luck
