I guess I will wait, a year or so, for all my peripherals to catch up to
vista before going to vista. A new operating system is nice but I sure hate
all the updates, drivers etc, that I have to find in order to run my system.
And I have XP(2) so I really do not need vista. Thank you for your response.
Yeah, if you don't see a need to upgrade right away just to be sure you have
driver support for every device that you owe, then I say hold off, but you
also have to remember that some devices just won't have driver support for
Vista (out of date hardwares and what not).
I installed Windows Vista Home Premium and tried to synchronize my Palm
Tungsten T5. The synchronization screen comes on momentarily, but then sends
an error message to the PDA terminating the synchronization because a program
on the desktop can't be accessed by the PDA. It doesn't say which program.
I reinstalled Palm Desktop: same result. Palmone.com's website said I should
be able to synchronize calendar, phonebook, etc., but can't synchronize other
palmfiles, docs, etc. It says "Watch this site for news." I have, and they
haven't posted any.
