Painter ... needs a double push

Why is that when I want to use the painter to copy formating, I have to do
it twice and it's all the time. Is there a setting that causes this?
 
What program are you talking about? It sure doesn't sound like Frontpage.

Try a newsgroup for the application you're asking about.
 
Think she means the Format Painter in FP.
