My os is Windows 2000 pro (fully updated) and all of a
sudden I've started to receive this message just after I
log onto windows (this is the short version)
'Virtual memory low.. Paging files either to small or do
not exist'
So I right click on My Computer, properties, Advanced tab,
Performance Options (when I click this I get told that
windows has created a temp file), change. I resize the
size of the paging file as requested, hit 'Set' and all's
good till I reboot, then I get the same message all over
again.
Drive C:
Space available: 36861
Initial Size (MB) 2072
Maximum Size (MB) 3072
Paging file sizes for all drives.
Recommended: 1534 MB
Allocated: 20 MB
I also have a drive named F: but that's just used for
storage and has the following settings..
Drive F:
Space available: 6918
Initial Size (MB) 1600
Maximum Size (MB) 2000
Is there anything I can do to fid this please?
