You are as helpful as a screendoor on a submarine!!!!!!!!
You stated you couldn't change the pagefile size. You need
to have admin rights to change this.
Open control Panel> Performance & Maintenance > System
Select [advanced] tab , then open performance settings, and
select [advanced], then virtual memory settings.
Virtual memory has 3 radio buttons: windows managed, no
paging file, and custom size -- click on custom size.
For the main system drive, enter 384 min. and 4096 maximum
values. If you logical drives & partitions, set their
pagefiles by the type of file you store there. Videos =
256/1024, Audio=256/1024, Pics=64/2048 (i've found these
work best.
For admin rights, same panel, but "admin tools" & computer
management.(xppro) or "compmgmt.msc /s" in run box (xphome).
In open app, look for local users & groups, and select local
users, then look for an entry with your name & open that
item. Type your name into The first line (user) &
Administrator into 2nd field (Type account). Click <apply>
and <ok>. Close the manager and control panel. Restart
Windows to finalize the changes.
