I have windows 2000 and XP installed, and sometimes I got the message
regarding the paging file size is too small.
In performance options, the followings are the original settings:
total paging file size for all drives: 457MB
C drive space available 14363MB
initial size = 384MB (editable)
maximum size = 768MB (editable)
total paging file size for all drives
=====================================
minimum allowed = 2MB
recommended = 381MB
currently allocated = 466MB
registry size
=============
current registry size = 18MB
maximum registry size = 64MB (editable)
When I increase the number in maximum size to 5000, I got the
message box "Enter a maximum page file size that is greater than or
equal to the initial page file size, and less than 4095MB"
Now, I set the maximum size be 4095, and leave other editable
fields unchange.
Please advise if I do it right.. thanks!!
