I run Windows 2000 Professional with 512 RAM, 70 GB Hard
disk.
Every time I boot the system it says the paging file size
is too small, temporary page file has been created etc. I
have already set the page file size in each drive to twice
or even thrice the size of the RAM. Even after I set the
page file size in each drive, the 'total page file size
allocated for all drives' does not change. It still
remains 20 MB and when I restart the old status of
insufficiency is restored.
Don't tell me the usual solution for the problem : that
is, Settings-Control Panel-System-System Properties-
Advance-Performance Options etc. Because I have already
done this many times and still every time the computer
boots, it probably erases the page file, says the page
file is not found or insufficient, the same story all over
again.
Can you help me ?
