In the link http://tinyurl.com/yrldz There is a
recommendation to correct a volume that will not
defragment completely. At one point in the instructions
it is suggested to create a new paging file on a separate
volume the same size as the original volume. Then the
instuctions prompt to zero out the two values of the
original paging file. When I do this, I get the
following message.

"If the paging file on volume C: has an initial size of
less than 511 mb., then the system may not be able to
create a debugging information file if a STOP error
occurs. Continue anyway?"

Should I continue?????

You can continue. See what happens. You can always go back and make
another adjustment to the page file.

Thanks, Rich. I'll proceed.

Thanks, Bill.

The information on the websites were helpful in
understanding the purpose page files. Didn't know this
stuff before.
