Hi,

I have a new sony system 2.8 Ghz with 512mb ram. I don't
have the exact model number of the laptop it is a clients
laptop and I am not at work at this present time.

The laptop had xp home and I upgraded to xp pro. SInce
then I am getting a paging file virtual memory problem.
The system keeps rebooting and rebooting. I have tried to
run in safe mode but the same thing occurs. I have also
tried to do a repair as and and even reinstalling windows.
I have not yet formated and tried from scartch. This is
my last option. I have tried many searches via the web but
there are similar error message showing you how to change
the paging file in the system in the control panel however
I cannot get in there due to the fact the system keeps
rebooting in a cycle.

Any thoughts or sugguestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I'm now having the same problem on a desktop in which I also upgraded from home to pro. I have found no reasonable way to affect a change in the settings despite re-entering data and rebooting. I get the same error message each time I re-boot. Anyone with a suggestion??
