Pages Numbers but not in header/footer

i need to display in the following format

page 1 of 15 etc

for each of my pages i dont want this to be in my header or footer bu
in a specific position on each page.

as i add or delete pages i need the page numbers to change accordingly

can this be done

Is there a reason you don't want them in the footer? The purpose o
putting them there is to keep them from getting pushed around with th
text. You can still place them in a specific area by formatting.

Otherwise, using INSERT AUTOTEXT, then choosing HEADER AND FOOTER, the
Xof Y will insert the field anywhere you put it.

Or you can manually type in the field:
Page { PAGE } of { NUMPAGES } (you have to press Ctrl + F9 to mak
the curly braces, don't manually type them
 
You can place this in your header/footer inside a frame or textbox. Put the
text box or frame where you want and wrap text around it if you want it
outside the traditional location of headers/footers.
