I have a problem with windows XP where I am not able to
view some web pages with website over a secure connection
Everytime I try to enter a page I end up at that page
that the page that reads "page cannot be displayed".

If I go to the same page using windows 98 non of the
above happens - so what settings within XP need to be
changed to get the same internet pages on XP.

Please can anyone help us?

Hi Frank and thanks for helping with this matter

Please try this - go to www,freeola.com on the page you
will see a tree of pages including Freeola 1000, help amd
status, etc. Within the list you will see Control Panel,
this page we can not open in windows XP but if we try on
a windows 98 computer we can see the page.

Here is the question what are we doing wrong within the
windows environment. We are connected to a network of
tree computers and the firewall is currently OFF, but
this still won't open the page. Windows 98 is not on the
network and to be truthful is a very old machine.

Just for information we are running AVG anti virus
software from Grisift.com

Internet explorer is version 6 sp1

And really that's is all is can tell you - I do thank you
in advance for your help in this matter as we are pulling
our hair out at the present time

PS It was just a thought last night but I lowered all the
security levels to low or off and have net reset them yet
that will be on of the thing I will need today.

Regards
John Brown
