Pages not loading

I am having similar problems as others are having except that I can not get
the pages to load ever havent tried safe mode yet but even if it does work in
safe mode it wont really tell me whats wrong. so i am asking all of you if
you have any ideas? I have checked for all spyware and hijackware known with
spybot and ZA. i have checked proxy and all other settings just doesnt seem
to load any pages except when i check my messages using MSN messenger but it
just has me sign in then brings me to account details. anyone know the
problem? this happened before but i had to reinstall windows. I am using MCE
with the roll up 2

Actually if you try it in safe mode WITH networking then it will let you
know that it is a running process that is preventing you from loading web
pages.

Then again, going online in safe mode with networking also means that you're
not protected by the same software that might be blocking you.

What tools - software have you used to scan for Spyware, Hijackware?

<g> I was thinking that it would be ZA's "professional-esque" suit of
products but as I am a NICE person (no matter what they say) I'll leave it
at that? :D It'd "have" to be their suit if they scanned with ZA?

I used Zone alrams virus and spyware checker and spybot search and destroy. I also had spybots teatimer residents software on and it seemed to block all they lil spyware things that happened and would prompt me when registry would change. I did uninstall that software and still the problem exists. When i check the running processes theres nothing unusual. is there any way a process is not shown in task manager?
