Pages are not up to date

Hello,

IE is driving me nuts. My yahoo page is not updating to the current date. I
don't know what caused this but 8 days ago it stopped updating. So all my
news stories are from back then, sports schedules and scores are a week old,
etc. I have cleared the cache several times, deleted temp files, deleted
cookies, rebooted my comp, and changed the the way IE updates to everything
possible (automatically and otherwise). Can anyone help me figure out whats
going on and help me fix it?

Does your IE connect to a proxy? It possible that the proxy server is not
updating, and so you always get older pages from the cache. If the proxy is
one you don't have control over, there's little you can do except contact
the owner of the proxy.

Hi,

Try a forced refresh... Ctrl+F5.

Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files *folder*
See: http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/delcache.htm
A new folder will be created on restart.

Internet Options> General> Temporary Internet Files> Settings> Check for
newer versions of stored pages... Don't use "Never" or "Automatically."

Your ISP may be caching pages (Dan's tip.) Contact them.

Hope this helps,
Don
