pagefile error

everytime i boot up windows xp home lately, i get an
error message that reads "pagefile missing or too small"
and then how to remedy it...well i already know
that....my problem is that when i make the change to 768
initial and 768 max and press set....im aksed to reboot
to allow my new settings to take place , but when i
reboot, i get the same error message....any ideas?
 
YES ; maybe, I have the same problem what kind of
optimizer are you running i`m running PCBOOSTER there is
a setting in my optimizer that controls the page files
issue and if you have one you will have the same problem
tring to configure it also Just uninstall the optimizer
program set the pagefiles in your systems settings should
be fine.

Open Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs and look for an entry for
the Intel Application Accelerator. If it is listed then select it and
click on Add/Remove to uninstall it. Reboot the computer and your
problem should be resolved.

And if the Intel Application Accelerator was installed then you should
go to www.intel.com and download the latest version of the Intel
Application Accelerator and install it.
