pagefile disappears

My computer keeps deleting my pagefile.sys and then of course my memory goes
low. Any ideas what is causing the file to delete on its own?

How did you determine the pagefile.sys was being deleted?

How do you know your memory goes low?
 
it's likely due to the registry.

perhaps, it is set to do a "clear
pagefile at shutdown" or

your antivirals are inhibiting
any changes to the registry
with regards to the pagefile.

click on start>run>regedit

and then do a f3 to search
for your pagefile keys.

The OP says his pagefile is being deleted.

That registry setting does not cause the pagefile to be deleted.

Right click on MY COMPUTER

Select 'PROPERTIES'

Select 'ADVANCED tab'

Click on 'SETTINGS' in the PERFORMANCE section

Click on CHANGE in the Virtual Memory section

Ensure that 'System Managed' is checked..

Reboot the computer..

If you still get the message, it signifies that there is no longer enough
room on the hard drive to accommodate a workable pagefile
