I can't start XP (home edition), then I was suggested to
get a 6 disket rebooting set from Microsoft..... I did so,
but when trying set up from floopy disk only 5 disks can
be read....when inserting the 6th disk
a 'PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA' message appears but I
have no reference to the damaged file so I can deleted and
try to go on....

Someone knows what's the corrupted file or this is
definitely a memory problem ?

PS: I can not even start the PC in 'safe mode'

Do you have a full install CD for your XP Home or is it a "System
Recovery" CD provided with a new computer?

If it is a full install CD (and some OEM versions do come with full
install CDs) then you could boot with the CD and do a Repair Install
as per the instructions at
http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm

Also try creating a new 6 diskette bootup set using a fresh download
from Microsoft. You may have had a bad diskette and/or a flawed
download.

Good luck

We are talking about a new computer provided with
a "Recovery System Utility" by pressing F10....the problem
is the system does not recognize such function anymore.

I just got a copy of a full installation CD.....so what
I'm trying to do is just re install it....back up some
important files and then go to the service center to get
the original image....

Anyway I'm trying to get a fresh download with a set of
new diskettes.....

Your help providing more tips will be highly
appreciated....
