Page title

I have been limiting the length of my page title to what can be seen,
and I just thought of a question. If I use a long page title, will the web
crawlers see the entire title, not just the visible part?

The engines should see the entire title. I don't know though how much of the
title each one will actually index. They usually do limit them a bit to
avoid keyword stuffing the title with bogus keywords. As to how many
characters are displayed on the search results pages, it's up to them but
usually they try to include as much as the title as necessary and definitely
more than the normal browser window will display.
