When Notes pages are published from PowerPoint 2007 to a pdf file the page
size in the pdf document always comes out to 7.5 X 10.4 ". Is there any way
to change this so the page size is 8.5 X 11?

I'm using Save As > PDF from the Office Button Menu. What other ways are
there to create a pdf from PowerPoint 2007? Help only refers to one way.

If you have Adobe Acrobat, it installs a printer driver that makes PDFs when you
print to it (and that allows you to set your preferred page size).

There are several other products, some free, that also install printer drivers that
work similarly. CutePDF, PrimoPDF are a couple of examples.

PPT's own Save As PDF add-in doesn't seem to respect your chosen page size in PPT,
so it may not be possible to force the page size to anything other than its default
size.

Out of curiosity, does it present a problem when the PDF isn't 8.5x11?

It's more of an annoyance - when you combine pdf's with different page sizes
into a single document you have to remember to set the print up so it auto
zooms to fill the paper. It hasn't resulted in an expensive mistake at the
print shop yet...but it will.
