I need to print certification cards on pre-printed forms. Each 8.5 x 11
sheet has 5 "cards". I set up a report, detail section 2.125" high
(height of card) for data and it works fine - for the first 4 cards
(records) on the page, but then it goes to the next page - the last
record ("card") causes the page to exceed the page height
(5x2.125(cards)+ min margins (.18"&.25")=11.055). I can't set margins
to "0", or think of a different way to get the proper placement. If I
reduce the detail size, the printing "creeps" up the page and by the
last card, is WAY off the pre-printed form's lines.
Any ideas? I know this must be simple, but I'm at a loss.
XP Pro, PC, Off 2002, HP Laser jet IIIP. Each card = 2.125", report
top margin (min .18") set at .25" (realistic margin for printer), bottom
set at .25 (minimum) (from line card 1 - line 1 to card 2 - line 1 =
2.125")
Saw previous post re: setting custom paper size in XP printers folder -
did so, but doesn't show up in access printer setup dialog box - size
must not be supported by printer.
