After reading a previous thread regarding page (custom form) settings, I
realize that I REALLY have a problem. using xp with sp2, and CRYSTAL REPORTS
XI, I can not get special form settings to "stick"
My accounting system uses CR XI to generate (compile) all of its reports, I
have modified one to print barcoded labels on an Eltron 2442 thermal label
printer. This printer is connected via a parallel cable to my system. CR XI
has the label size as 4" by 1", and the print preview shows the correct size.
When printing from my system, the labels come out perfect. However, when
printing from any of the other printers on the network, the page size is
shown as 8-1/2 by 11 (standard letter)
On each of these computers, I have added the label as a custom form, and I
have copied the compiled report over to the other systems. But, still, no
matter what I do, the page size continues to be letter for all computers
EXCEPT mine. This printer appears on all machines, and has had its papaer
size set to 4 by 1; and can be printed to; but not the way I expect.
Any suggestions before I go BALD!!!!!
