Steve Grosz

I have a problem. I'm using frames, and trying to design a page for viewing
at 800x600 when my resolution on my screen is set much higher than that.
I'm using FP2003.

I can sort of see how the pages look, but when I post them, they look
completely wrong, such as the amout of space used by each frame.

Take a look at http://www.scootervilleusa.com and look at the link for R3,
as an example.

Any solutions on how to fix this would be much appreciated!!

Thanks.

Steve

Suggest you re-think using frames.,

If I was interested in a specific scooter, because you are using frames it
would not be possible for me to save a link to the specific scooter or to be
able to print a page with the photo and the specs at one time easily. Also
search engines are going to index each page (frame) independently of the
frameset.

So what, individual pages and just a menu system going to the individual
pages?
Steve

The following is what would be indexed by the search engines as individual
pages outside of the frameset:

http://www.scootervilleusa.com/ScooterList.htm
http://www.scootervilleusa.com/R3Image.htm
http://www.scootervilleusa.com/R4Menu.htm
http://www.scootervilleusa.com/R4Image.htm

If the above doesn't matter, then why bother with using a frameset to begin
with?

Use an "include page" for your menu and any other repeating
information/graphics.

For each scooter page:
Insert table - one column, three rows
Top row - Navigation bar and site logo
Middle row - Picture description of scooter
Bottom row - Scooter Featureset

Similar layout for home page.
That should get you started.
