Hi,

I'm having so much trouble with this simple task. I want, for example, page 1 to be in Protrait layout, page 2 in Landscape and page 3 in Protrait. But when i change one page to, for example, Landscape layout, the rest of the pages also turn out in Landscape. How do I change different pages in different layout?? I have no idea.

Thanks!

Hi HC

in file / page setup - when you chose landscape ensure FROM THIS POINT
FORWARD is selected under the apply to bit - same for when you want to
switch back to portrait.

It's not as simple as it would seem. You can't change from portrait to landscape and back (or vice versa) in Powerpoint. But I have found a way around this. I set up a "main" presentation in the orientation that most of the slides are in (in your example, portrait). Then for each slide that is the other orientation, I create a separate presentation containing that one slide, and embed it as a Powerpoint object in the main presentation. Hope this helps.

oops sorry - got my groups mixed up :(

Unless you have PowerPoint 2003, you don't have that option. But, there are
alternatives http://tinyurl.com/nywt

BTDT, Julie. No worries.

Just out of curiosity HC, are you using PowerPoint for presenting on screen
or for printouts?
