PP2003 on XP
I have purchased a new printer, Epsom RX585, so I can print directly onto
CD/DVDs. But I would prefer to use PowerPoint for the artwork instead of the
CD creator that comes with the printer. As I have already got a setup for the
old sticky labels with some good artwork I would like to stay in PowerPoint
but I cannot find a "template" with the page size required for CD/DVDs.
Can someone tell me the correct size for this to work, or is there a
previously setup that I can use?
Many thanks in advance.

I can't imagine there being a ready made template for this printer available
for powerpoint.

If it was me I'd print a grid or a long line of text as a test page... and
then using that, as a guide, create a template for your particular printer.

Many thanks for your reply.
I am doing exactly what you suggested, with continuing better results but
still not perfect.
I was just hoping that someone out there may already have a page size
defined that could save me time.
Thanks, have a good weekend.

CD duplicators like DiskMakers (www.diskmakers.com) usually have templates for
just about everything to do with CDs. They might not be in PPT format, but if
you can get an image/picture, you can insert it into PPT and work with that.

They'll probably also have the dimensions you need to use; from that you may be
able to build your own template.
