Page Setup Changes?

I have two users in different departments who swap Excel spreadsheets, one
will create and send to the other. The other will amend and send back for
sign-off; they are both running NT4 (SP6a) and Office 97 (SR2b).
When the second user receives the spreadsheet and amends (header/footer for
example) they complain that the page set-up changes.

Now I know that the creator of the spreadsheet has an HP 5000 as their
default printer and the modifier has an HP 4050, could this be something to
do with it (I seem to remember problems with default printers in the past)?
To the best of my knowledge these documents are A4 sized.

Does anyone have any clues or do I need to provide more information? I have
not seen this fault yet as I preferred to have a number of options to try
when I visit the user.

Many thanks in advance,
Mike

Hi Mike
it could be that the pagebreaks are changed as the printers could have
different paper sizes. Besided this I doubt that header/footer settings
are changed.
Let the user explain WHICH settings are changed

Frank,

Many thanks, even though our users told us their page settings were set to
A4, when we checked the printer page settings they were set to Letter and
hence the problem!!! All were changed to A4 and tested, no more problems.
Many thanks.

Mike
