I put blank rows between each row which makes it easier to read my spread
sheet. When I sort the data the blank row disappears. How do I keep this from
happening? Thanks

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm work, but I don't
think what you want to do is possible. As a work around try
making you row height greater. Click in the square in the
upper left hand corner. This will select the whole sheet.
Now right click on one of the row numbers and then select
row height. Try different heights until you get the desired effect.

gls58 is correct in there suggestion -- if you do the sort it takes the blank
rows and moves them to the top or the bottom because you are sorting it is
sorting all the data and it sees that as blank cells so it goes before any
numbers or letters

Thank you so much! These Microsoft programs drive me nuts. What should be a
simple task often cannot be done without learning how to manipulate the
program. I am a MAC person and find programs like Indesign very intuitive and
user friendly. What you see is what you get....
