Page scrolling in IE has serious problem

Hi,

I just upgraded two PCs from Millennium to XP.

Now IE is driving me nuts: When I left click in the scroll bar IE does NOT scroll forward a
screen full. It goes forward a lot more.

On my NT 4.0 and 2000 PCs when I left click in the scroll area I get the next screen full.

Any one know what is going on here?

This is caused by a bug in the Q824145 patch. Click just under the slider in
the scrollbar, drag the slider, use the Page Up/Page Down keys, the arrow
keys or the wheel on the mouse.
You can uninstall the update and wait for the next one, but you'll be
re-opening a security vulnerability.
