WinNT 4.0, IE 6.0
I've downloaded the latest security updates from Microsoft, and now
just about every web page pops up a message box with "This page
provides potentially unsafe information to an ActiveX control... blah
blah blah".
The browser is set to the default Medium for the Internet zone. Moving
the domains to the trusted zone is not an option, there are too many,
and some I don't trust with any less than Medium. I would need a
trusted setting, half-trusted setting, and not trusted but don't pop
up that stupid message box setting.
Is there any way to fix the problem or turn off that stupid message
box somehow? It's like every single time, even going back or forth in
the history brings it up. It's really, really annoying.
If there isn't any way to turn this off, the only option left is to
switch browsers, any recommendations?
