Once you have check marked all the required objects in the Format Master
Layout. Close that window. then like John and Echo said click on the place
holder and format whatever you want. Making sure that when your finished and
if you want to use these changes in future presentations that you close the
Slide Master and save it as a template file .POT. PowerPoint will point you
to where it would like you to save it.
