Page numbers (hand-outs) in PP 2007 beta

I seem to be unable to get the page number function to work in PowerPoint
2007 beta - for the hand-out pages. Saved files print the numbers well with
PP 2003, but that is a step back, yes?

Probably not. It's probably a bug rather than a design feature.
That's the way it is with beta software. Stuff's broken.
