Yes to the first, no to the second (at least not easily). You can add any
static text you like to the page number in the header/footer pane (or even
to the framed page number inserted by Insert | Page Number, provided you
View | Header and Footer to access it), but this will not show up in the
TOC. If you have applied outline numbering to any heading level (Word's
built-in heading styles only), you can use "Include chapter number" in the
Format Page Number dialog to add this, but the problems with that approach
are that: (a) I doubt that static text, even if added as "numbering" would
be included, and (b) the choice of separators doesn't include "none" (you'd
have to settle for a period, dash, colon, etc.).
