Page numbering for individual Statements

I have a report for sending statements to clients, with some statements being
2 to 3 pages.
I want the beginning number for each individual clients statement, to start
with # 1, and if possible show say, "Page 1 of 3", "Page 2 of 3" etc

I think this can be accomplished with appropriate code, or a macro, in the
Footer, but I've been unable to fathom how to do it.

As you say, it can be done with code.
