Page Load Delays

I'm not sure when this started happening, but I think it
was since the latest automatic updates.

What is happening is when IE is loading a page, after the
page is loaded, it hesitates for a second or two and
won't allow you to scroll down with the mouse wheel or
click a link on the page. Actually, no interaction with
the whole IE window is allowed. Up until the progress bar
in the status bar fills up you can interact with the
window or anything on the page. I have seen this problem
on 2 computers. Windows XP Pro and Home.

I have searched the knowledge base. Any ideas?

I have the same problem... mine i think started happening
after that security update (so i guess the same time as
yours)... it's annoying eh?

I have also had this problem. Is there a solution to it yet? I have tried
everything as well from Ad-Aware to updating my Anti-virus.

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
than just those two programs. CWShredder is also available here:

If nothing there helps, please post back to this thread.
