Hi,

I've posted this question before and never really got a
satisfactory response.

I have built a system that claims to not use a page file
(I've been told that they are disabled by default, and I
did not enable it, and I ensured that it was not enabled
with target designer).
However, when I look at task manager, it appears to be
using a page file, and over time the page file use seems
to grow.
Is there a way that I can verify that a page file is not
being used other than by looking at the options in target
designer? The options I verified were under the ACPI
component. Are there other components I should look at?

Well you can always check the root of C: D: etc. for hidden file called
pagefile.sys

use:

dir C: /AH
dir D: /AH

etc.

Don't look at what task manager says.

Best regards,
Slobodan

Hi,

I faced the same issue. make sure that your ACPI settings are not set as 0MB
pagefile size, but to be unchecked for "enable pagefile".
if you set it as enable but in the zero size, windows ignores your settings
and makes its own size.

good luck
