What are the names of these specific tasks?
If you have unwanted items running on your computer then you should:
1. Make sure your antivirus software is completely up to date, with
the virus definition files not more than 10 days old, and do a
complete virus scan of your computer.
2. Download, install, update, and run AdAware (free) from
www.lavasoft.de to clean any advertising spyware programs off your
computer.
3. Use Control Panel - Add/Remove programs to uninstall any unwanted
programs that you have installed.
