Page file problems

The page file should be set at,1 1/2 X 512mb of ram min.,
max.is 3X 512.
Lowering min.is ok,but not max.,click advanced in system,
change virtual memory,type in custom settings,then click
set 2 times,close-out.
You can defrag the page file by selecting zero,restart
computer,defrag C:,then reset the page file to specs.
Windows creates a new page file.C: being the hd

Those settings are totally bogus and have no relationship to reality.
